This species inhabits mudflats in China, south of Jiangsu Province. It's often found hiding in the burrows of pistol shrimps (Family Alpheidae). It feeds on algae and small invertebrates on the surface of mudflats.

本种在中国栖息于江苏省以南的滩涂地区，常躲藏在鼓虾的泥洞中。摄食滩涂表面的藻类和小型无脊椎动物。
