分布于西北太平洋温带地区沿岸岩礁潮池中的大口裸头虾虎鱼在中国青岛和浙江北部偏远岛屿数量众多，但其似乎对岩相生境和清澈海水有一定依赖，在海水浑浊的地区并不容易发现。

This species can easily and only be found in the temperate coastal regions of the Northwest Pacific's rocky reef tide pools. In China, they are abundant in rocky coast around Qingdao and remote islands of northern Zhejiang. However, it seems to have a certain dependency on rocky habitats and clear water, making it difficult to find in areas with turbid waters.
